Wesley Chapel Health Coverage, Reviewed Before It's Replaced

We compare individual and family health insurance, ACA marketplace plans, dental, vision and accident coverage for clients in Wesley Chapel, Lutz and Land O' Lakes. First we check whether your current plan can be adjusted to fit. If switching is the better move, we show you why, carrier by carrier.

What Sets Your Premium

Health insurance prices are not random. Under ACA rules, carriers can rate individual and family plans on only a few factors, and the plan design you choose does the rest. Knowing which lever moves the price helps you decide what to keep.

We quote from current carrier rates for your age, location and family size, and every option is shown with its full premium and deductible before you decide.

Age and tobacco use
Premiums rise with each year of age on a set federal curve, and carriers may add a surcharge for tobacco users. These two factors are fixed for the year, so we focus on the ones you can change.
Metal tier
On a bronze plan you pay less each month and more when you actually use care; a gold plan reverses that trade. Which tier fits depends on how often you see a doctor, so we ask about last year's visits and medications first.
Network type
HMO and EPO plans keep costs down by limiting you to a defined network, while PPO plans cost more but pay something out of network. If your doctors are all in one system, a narrower network may lose you nothing.
Income and subsidies
Marketplace premium tax credits are based on projected yearly income and family size. A raise, a job change or a new dependent can move your subsidy up or down, sometimes by more than any plan change would.
Who is on the plan
Each person added to family coverage changes the premium, and children are rated differently from adults. Sometimes splitting coverage, like a spouse on an employer plan and kids on a marketplace plan, works out better.
Standalone policies
Dental, vision and accident policies carry their own rates apart from medical coverage. Their real cost depends on how long benefits are delayed after enrollment, the yearly cap on payouts and what each covered service actually pays, not just the monthly charge.

Plans We Put Side by Side

As a licensed independent insurance agency, we answer to you, not to any single insurer. Because we shop several insurance carriers, one conversation can set individual health insurance, family health insurance and ACA marketplace plans in matching columns, with deductibles and networks aligned so the differences are easy to spot. Dental insurance, vision insurance and accident insurance get the same side-by-side look, which matters because they are usually bought on their own and priced on very different terms than medical coverage.

    Individual Health Insurance

We review your own plan's network, formulary and deductible, then compare it with plans from several carriers before we ever suggest a switch.

    Family Health Insurance

Family coverage built around your kids' doctors, your deductible math and your budget, with side-by-side options from several carriers.

    ACA Marketplace Plans

Marketplace plans checked against your income, doctors and medications, with an honest answer on whether to keep your current plan or switch.

    Dental Insurance

We compare dental plans on the details that decide what you pay: waiting periods, annual maximums, coinsurance tiers and whether your dentist is in network.

    Vision Insurance

Vision plans compared by exam copay, frame and contact allowances, and whether your current eye doctor is in network.

    Accident Insurance

Accident plans that pay fixed cash benefits for fractures, ER visits and ambulance rides, compared across carriers so you add only the coverage your health plan lacks.

Why Clients Start With Us

Most people do not need a brand-new plan every year. They need someone to read the one they have, line by line, and say whether a smaller change fixes the problem.

We read your current plan first

Our first step is going through your Summary of Benefits and Coverage: deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, copays and network. Often the fix is a different metal tier with the same carrier, or adding a dental plan instead of rebuilding everything.

We explain when switching makes sense

If your doctors left the network, your medications moved to a higher formulary tier, or your income changed your subsidy, keeping the old plan can cost more. We show the numbers behind that recommendation so you can check our reasoning.

Side-by-side, not a sales pitch

Plans are laid out in the same columns: premium, deductible, out-of-pocket maximum and network type. You see the tradeoffs in one view instead of reading three brochures written three different ways.

No cost to you

The consultation carries no fee. Our commission comes from the carrier you end up picking, so checking your options costs you nothing, and your premium matches what you would pay going straight to that insurer.

Help after enrollment

Questions come up after the card arrives: a claim that was denied, a bill that looks wrong, a renewal notice with a new premium. We stay the person you call about your plan.

What a Plan Review Looks Like

Most reviews are done in a single conversation, in our office, over the phone or on video. Keep your insurance card nearby, along with a list of your doctors and prescriptions.

  1. 1

You call and explain what's different

A higher premium, a doctor who left, a baby on the way, a job that ended. Why you're calling points us to the right place to start.

  2. 2

We look at your current plan

We make sure your doctors are still in network, find your prescriptions on the drug list and weigh your deductible against what you really spent. When a tier change or an added policy fixes things, we tell you.

  3. 3

    We gather other options

If a switch makes more sense, we bring in plans from several carriers and set them next to each other so the differences are easy to see.

  4. 4

We sign you up with you

After you pick a plan, we complete the application together while we're on the phone or at our office, during open enrollment or a qualifying life-event window. We then confirm when your coverage begins and when the first premium is due, so there's no gap.

Questions Clients Ask Us

Something not covered here? (813) 680-5409

Does it cost anything to work with you?

No. The consultation has no fee, and your premium is the same one you would see buying from the carrier yourself. Our pay comes from the insurer you select, not from you.

Should I keep my current plan or switch?

It depends on what changed. If your doctors are still in network, your medications are covered at a reasonable tier and your costs last year fit the deductible, keeping it or making a small adjustment is often smart. If any of those broke, we compare alternatives and show you the difference in real numbers.

When can I enroll or change plans?

Open enrollment each fall is the main window for changing individual and family marketplace plans. Between those windows, a qualifying life event such as getting married, having a baby, relocating or losing other coverage generally gives you 60 days to pick a new plan. Dental, vision and accident insurance usually have no fixed window and can be bought year-round.

Can I keep my doctor?

We check each doctor and facility against the carrier's current network directory as part of every recommendation. Networks change yearly, so a doctor who was covered last year is worth confirming again at renewal.

Do I qualify for a marketplace subsidy?

Premium tax credits are based on your projected income and family size for the coverage year. We estimate your eligibility during the call and show plans with and without the credit applied so you can see its effect.

Is accident insurance a replacement for health insurance?

No. Accident insurance pays a set cash benefit for covered injuries, which can help with a deductible or lost time at work. It works alongside a medical plan and does not replace one.

Are dental and vision part of my health plan?

For adults, usually not. Routine cleanings, eye exams and glasses typically sit outside a standard medical plan, while children's dental and vision are sometimes bundled in. We look at what your plan actually covers and price standalone options if something is missing.

An Independent Agency Built Around Questions

We started from a simple observation: most people overpay for health insurance because nobody walked them through the plan they already had. A deductible set too high, a network that no longer matches their doctors, a dental plan with a waiting period they did not know about. Those are fixable problems.

Our approach is to read before we recommend. We would rather tell you to keep a good plan and adjust one piece than move you to a new carrier for a small gain and a new set of forms. When a change is worth it, you will know exactly what you gain and what you give up.
